The Story

Built to make social work visible.

Pakistan is home to thousands of NGOs doing extraordinary work, from the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan to the coastal communities of Sindh. Yet for most people, finding and connecting with these organisations is difficult and fragmented.

Falaah was created to change that. Developed as a community service initiative in collaboration with Shah Qutub Welfare Foundation (SQWF), it is a free, openly accessible directory that brings Pakistan's social work landscape into one searchable, categorised resource.

The name Falaah comes from Arabic and Urdu, meaning prosperity, welfare and flourishing. A word that sits at the heart of every organisation listed here.

Our Principles

What guides this project

Always Free

Falaah will never charge NGOs to be listed or users to access information. Public benefit is the only purpose.

Verified Data

All information is compiled from publicly available sources. We do not make editorial judgements on any listed organisation.

Inclusive Coverage

We aim to represent all provinces, all causes, and all scales of social work, from national foundations to local community efforts.

Community Driven

Anyone can submit an NGO for listing. The directory grows with the community's knowledge and contributions.
